La Paz 40 is a lifestyle shopping center in the San Ángel neighborhood of Mexico City.
For generations, La Paz 40 has welcomed visitors with it's variety of shops and restaurants in one of the most beautiful and historic neighborhoods of Mexico City.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the shopping center was almost entirely vacated and suffered from deferred maintenance while strict lock-down measures were in effect.
We acquired La Paz 40 in 2022 and implemented a comprehensive restoration, rebranding and releasing project to bring this neighborhood gem back to life.
Today, La Paz 40 is again a vibrant neighborhood haunt for those in-the-know, and offers a variety of culinary, shopping, fitness, and wellness experiences for visitors of all ages.

San Ángel is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Mexico City, with it’s colonial charm, bright colors, cobble stone streets, and rich history and tradition.
Of course, it’s prime location in the heart of Mexico City comes with the challenges and the wear-and-tear of being one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world.
Our team has organized and partnered with San Ángel’s neighbors, local businesses, as well as the local and city-wide governments to develop a comprehensive urban redevelopment program to address the neighborhood’s changing needs.
At the core of our joint research and proposal is an effort to:
1. Improve mobility and alleviate traffic patterns
2. Facilitate safe and reliable access to public transportation
3. Transition from car-focused circulation to pedestrian and biker-friendly sidewalks and crosswalks
4. Increase green areas and public community spaces
5. Invest heavily in public services and infrastructure, including roads, power, water, and sewage
An initial phase of the proposal has begun its implementation phase, and we continue to work with local and city government representatives to advance and implement the comprehensive redevelopment plan.

Casa Manglar is a 16-unit vacation rental project in Puerto Aventuras. The project consisted of the acquisition and renovation of an existing condo building, and the addition of various amenities and two brand new suites.
Puerto Aventuras is a gated community along the Riviera Maya which offers residents and guests access to private beaches, marinas, golf course, restaurants, parks, tennis and pickle ball courts, nature tours, and private schools.
We provided equity capital to the developer of Casa Manglar and have a seat on the project's Advisory Board.
The Roma project is a 27-unit apartment building located in the vibrant Roma neighborhood of Mexico City.
The building operates as a short-term rental for travelers from around the world, and also has a small retail space on the ground floor and an underground parking garage.

The Residential Portfolio includes our less exciting, but very high-quality residential real estate properties throughout North America.
These properties include single-family homes and apartments leased on conventional 12-month contracts.
Our portfolio includes assets in Mexico City, Cuernavaca, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Philadelphia, and Vancouver.
The Commercial Portfolio is an aggregation of retail and office properties in Mexico City, all leased to high-quality tenants on conventional long term contracts.
Our tenants range from global financial institutions, to restaurants, government agencies, veterinary hospitals, billboards, and other commercial users.
The assets in our Commercial Portfolio are located in Mexico City's top neighborhoods and along high-traffic roads and commercial corridors.
In the last couple of years, we have been selectively selling our office assets to focus on high-quality retail locations.
Willow Creek is a 50-acre ranch and commercial development near The Woodlands, Texas.
We were initially co-owners of the site as a covered land play, with five commercial leases on the property including an office building, two wedding venues, a residential property, and a flex warehouse space.
We have since then exited our equity position in the project, and have provided a bridge financing facility to the developer to build the new Willow Creek District master plan.
The plan includes a community retail center along the road frontage section of the property, a small creative office and studio section, and 40 light industrial / flex warehouse units to be sold or leased to commercial tenants.
The San Carlos project is the restoration and modernization of a historic house in the San Ángel neighborhood of Mexico City.
Our work includes peeling off layers of prior renovations and instead restoring the home's original and historic character and details.
We acquired San Carlos in December 2023, and completed the restoration work and interior design over 8 months, led by Gabriela Huerta from Estudio Huerta, and carefully sourced from Mexico's best artisans and designers.
San Carlos will operate as a short-term rental, where guests will be able to appreciate the history, tradition, and craftsmanship of San Ángel, one of the most iconic neighborhoods of Mexico City.
Isla Blanca is a 20km long peninsula in Quintana Roo with the turquoise waters of the Caribbean on one side and the Chacmuchuch Lagoon on the other.
Sensible restrictions on development have maintained Isla Blanca as a natural paradise right next to the highly developed resorts of Cancun and Isla Mujeres.
Isla Blanca's beautiful beaches and secluded feel make it a choice destination for travelers interested in eco-tourism, seclusion among nature, kite surfing and fly fishing.
We own this beach-front site and have partnered with a local hospitality developer to build a 24-suite boutique eco-resort and beach club right along the coast on the side of the Caribbean.
The project is currently in pre-development and expected completion is Spring 2026.
Malinalco is a beautiful "Pueblo Mágico" located 70 miles southwest of Mexico City.
This town served as an Aztec sanctuary for their Eagle and Jaguar warriors since the 1470's, and has been associated with magic and mysticism since those times.
Today, Malinalco remains a cultural and natural paradise and serves as a preferred weekend destination for the more bohemian denizens of Mexico City.
We acquired a large farm in the valley, surrounded by imposing cliffs, and in very close proximity to the Malinalco Golf Club.
We may build weekend homes for-sale, keep a working avocado farm, or develop a small eco-resort and spa.
This one is still in the works, but stay tuned for more!
